It is easy to fall in love with technology. New frameworks, new platforms and new capabilities arrive constantly, and it is tempting to reach for them first and find a use for them later. At TFAP we deliberately work the other way around.
The problem defines the solution
Before we design a screen or write a line of code, we spend time understanding the problem and the people affected by it. What is actually hard today? Where does time, money or trust leak away? What would a good outcome look like for a real person in a real community?
Technology should do more than digitise existing processes; it should solve meaningful problems.
Only once the problem is clear do we choose the technology. Sometimes the right answer is a sophisticated platform. Often it is something far simpler. Starting with the problem keeps us honest, and it keeps our solutions practical, adopted and sustainable.
